Cost includes:
Nepal Part: -Arrival and departure transfer,
03 nights hotel accommodations in 3 or 4 Star
hotels. (i.e. Ganjong, Royal Singi, Durbar or
Manaslu) , daily breakfast, 01 half day sightseeing
of Pashupatinath and Boudhanath.
Tibet Part:
Accomodations on twin sharing basis at guest
houses / two men high altitude tent, Sherpa
staff, all veg. meals, Dining and toilet tents,
Japanese landcruiser 4 WD and support truck,
English Speaking Tibetan Guide, 1 Nepali Team
Leader, 1 Cook trained in Indian cuisine ,
Monastery entrance fees, Yaks and Yak men
during Kailash Parikarma, Gamow bag, Oxygen
, Basic first aid kit, 1 Satellite phone for
emergency, Kailash permit and normal Tibet/
China Visa fee.
Cost Excludes :
Nepal re-entry visa fee (not applicable of Indian
Passport holders),
Travel insurance, emergency evacuation cost,
Extra cost in the event of landslides for hiring
proterage or additional transportation (approx.
500 –700 pp), phone charge made through
satellite phones and expenses of personal nature.),
extra expenses/loss due to any unforeseen circumstances.
Please note:
No laundry services will be available through
out the trip.
Vegetarian meals will be provided.
You will be required to bring sufficient
supplementary food like biscuits, chocolates,
nuts, pickles, etc
On the above program the roads are not tarred.
The average distance covered is 30-40 Kms
per hour, Most of the roads are bumpy, sandy
and one has to cross through three major rivers
where there are no bridges and in some place
it has to be crossed by ferry. The climate
in Tibet can be extreme varying from 25 C.
in the day time to – 5 C. to –
10 C at night Winds blow at a speed of 50
- 60 Kms per hour, and at times more.
Important note:
ACCOMMODATION
: Accommodation in 2 men high
altitude tents will be provided. while camping
we shall be providing all tents, mattresses,
sleeping bags and camping equipment required
for the trip. Apart from tents we provide
Basic guest houses as mentioned in the itineraries.
FOOD &
BEVERAGE : We will be providing
vegetarian breakfast and dinner cooked by
our own cook at campsite. Lunch will be packed
of light snacks.
TRANSPORATION
: Throughout the journey you
will be travelling in Japanese 4 Wheel Driven
Land Cruisers. Support truck will be provided
for all the luggage and camping gear.
STAFF :
Sherpas who are capable to work & cook
on high altitudes will be accompanying the
group. They will be in charge of setting of
Tents, Cooking etc. Apart from the above service
of English speaking Tibetan guide, 1 Nepali
team leader, and 1 cook (trained to make Indian
food) will be provided to the group.
VISAS AND DOCUMENTATION
: You must be in possession
of a valid passport. We will obtain your visa
for Tibet, and will require the following
information at least 15 days in advance when
making your reservation. FULL NAME AS IT APPEARS
IN YOUR PASSPORT, PASSPORT NUMBER, DATE OF
EXPIRY, PLACE OF ISSUE, NATIONALITY, DATE
OF BIRTH and OCCUPATION. 2 PASSPORT SIZED
PHOTOGRAPHS. Additionally, you must allow
a minimum of three full working days in Kathmandu
for the visa to be physically stamped in your
passport. Getting a visa for Tibet on an Indian
passport is guaranteed once the tour is booked.
