Drive in the morning to Drugyel
Dzong and on return visit a typical Bhutanese farmhouse
and a sightseeing trip to Paro Bazaar. After lunch,
drive to Ta Dzong followed by a short walk to Paro Rimpung
Dzong. |

A short drive to Satsam Chorten
followed by a 2 hours trek to Taktsang Tea house, from
this point one has the best close-up view of the Monastery.
Lunch at the Tea house and return walk to Satsam Chorten
for a drive to Thimpu. |

Sightseeing of Memorial Chorten,
National Library, Dzong. |
| Day 5 |
A 3 hours drive to Punakha
across the dochula Pass. On the way light refreshments
will be served at the Dochula Café. Lunch at Khuru camp. |

In the morning visit
a typical farm house where traditional buttered tea
with “Zaw” (puffed rice) will be served. Visit Wangdi
Phordang Dzong and return to Khuru Camp. |

MOUNTAIN TREK

The black mountain range nearly divides
the country in two, running from the north at the Tibetan
border to the south rich in wildlife at the sanctuary of
Manas. The route follows rich rhododendron forests and

LINGSHI-LAYA
TREK
NEST BTN – 509: 18 days
This route takes one upstream along the
Paro Chu and the ancient caravan route to Tibet, through
the Seo valley , deep into the shadows of Mt. chomolhari
7314 mts, Mt. Jitchu Drake 7000 mts and over Nele La Pass
4250 mts into Lingshi Valley. The inhabitants of these two
valleys are nomads.
